There is a user request to back port some features from main into release 50 so they are available before the next release in November. This issue is to track the status of back porting.
The current plan is to base the release on commit 16d4c03 that comes in from #1269
This would exclude the work underway on using SQL parsing so that it is all released at once instead of a partial solution.
