I looked at how one local operator is represented in the Places layer and found four separate problems. They all concern the same twelve properties, run by New Leaf Properties in Twin Falls, Idaho. I have no affiliation with Overture; I do work on these businesses' websites, so treat me as an interested party rather than a neutral reporter, and please verify independently.
1. Duplicate record for one building
539f4232-c175-4c60-a987-b30b3c2740e1 "Americas Best Value Inn", 296 Addison Ave W, phone +1 208 733 2010, source Microsoft
3c09addf-bf9b-4772-a45a-318f30d56ba2 "Apollo Motor Inn", 296 Addison Ave W, source meta
Same street address and the ABVI record carries the operator's phone number. These are one building. The property has not carried the Americas Best Value Inn flag for at least a decade: an archived TripAdvisor page for Apollo Motor Inn from 2015-09-09 prints "(Formerly Americas Best Value Inn Apollo Motor Inn)" under the address, and the brand's own current location finder lists no Twin Falls property.
Suggested: merge into the Apollo Motor Inn record.
2. Record held under a name the business stopped using in 2019
b32050b8-633b-41c7-b3af-08b61aa54ac6 "Super 7 Motel", 320 Main Ave S, website innsuper7.com, source Foursquare
The business at that address is Downtown Extended Stay. The Idaho Secretary of State shows a single continuous assumed-business-name registration, file number 576485, with an amendment dated 2019-11-18 changing the filing name from SUPER 7 MOTEL to DOWNTOWN EXTENDED STAY. So this is one business renamed, not two businesses.
The website on the record, innsuper7.com, is unregistered (Verisign RDAP returns 404).
Suggested: rename to Downtown Extended Stay, drop the dead website.
3. Missing place
El Rancho Motel, 380 Addison Ave W, Twin Falls, ID 83301 is absent from the release, while its five immediate neighbours on the same block are present. It has a live Google Business Profile with 38 reviews and recent activity. It is also absent from OpenStreetMap, which may be the upstream reason.
4. Dead website values on six records
Every website URL the release carries for this operator's buildings is dead. Checked by DNS resolution and HTTP on 2026-09-02:

resolves, but it is the operator's old portfolio site, not this property |
Current per-property websites, all returning HTTP 200 on 2026-09-02:
I realise most of this has to be fixed upstream rather than in Overture directly, and I am working the upstream sources separately. Flagging it here because the duplicate and the 2019 rename are conflation questions rather than source-data questions, and because a whole dead website column for one operator seemed worth someone seeing.
Happy to supply the raw extract or the DNS/RDAP responses if useful.
