Cannot print with print.gcode_file or print.project_file

Hello,

I set up a python code with a web ui for managing my Bambu P1S. Here I can see the status and manage files through ftp. The status of the printer is received succesfully, and I can also send gcode lines which the printer succesfully does. But for some reason I cannot print with either print.gcode_file or print.project_file command. Printer is in local mode.

Am I missing something or is this function broken?

I am also having a similar issue. When I try to use print.gcode_file on a P1S (fw 01.06.01.00), I get the message {'print': {'command': 'gcode_file', 'param': '/mnt/sdcard/cube.gcode', 'reason': 'success', 'result': 'success'}}, but then the print never starts. I can start a print successfully using the same strategy on an X1C, though.

One potential fix for you is to make sure the filename is prefixed with /mnt/sdcard/, otherwise what firmware is the printer on, and what (if any) messages are you seeing after you send the command?

I have it working on P1S's, my fix was making sure url was of the form: 'url': 'ftp:///Cube.gcode.3mf'

Hello, unfortunately I’m also having problems with this.
Are you using the print request with command "project_file" or "gcode_file"? Could you maybe send an jsonexample as well? I’m currently trying it local with a P1S running firmware version 01.07.00.00.

01.07.00.00 requires lan mode to be activated on the printer to send commands locally, so try that first if you havent. Anyway, try sending to the topic device/{serial number}/request and while I haven't gotten gcode files to execute on P1S's, I have gotten project files to work:
