I would LOVE to have machine learning powered scene detection cutting added to Final Cut Pro in the timeline.
A lot of the time for (soul destroying) corporate/advertising work, I'm given ProRes masters (or YouTube rips, etc) that have an entire edit as one file. I'd love to just be able to right-click on a clip in the timeline and press "Scene Detection - Add Cuts", and it automatically adds cuts each time the shot changes in the selected clip. Hell - even if it just added markers instead of cuts would be a BIG time saver and reduce errors when doing manually.
